The Mulberry Oxford Guest House is situated in Headington just outside of Oxford, conveniently located to reach the Oxford Universities, local hospitals, museums, churches and the river Thames, including the BMW plant.   

It is an ideal location if you are looking to visit family or friends in Oxford or alternatively if you are visiting one of the local attractions, such as Bicester Village, Woodstock, Blenheim Palace, or even going further afield to London, Windsor, the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick or Bath. It is also just a short walk to local amenities such as restaurants, pubs, shops, banks and post office. With good connections to and from Oxford City centre by bus or coach making this the ideal place to visit.

History to the present day

The name Mulberry came from the 80-year-old mulberry tree in the garden.

Breakfast is served 8.00am - 8.30am.

If the above times are not suitable please ask to arrange an alternative breakfast time to suit both parties.

Supermarkets, restaurants and pubs are less than 10 minutes walk away from the residence.

Bury Knowle park is nearby with adventure playground, library, tennis courts, table tennis, mini golf, etc.

The Guest House is located about 2 miles from Oxford city centre

By Train: If you arrive by train, from Oxford railway station you can take a taxi or Sapphire 280 bus or the U1 Oxford Brookes bus from the R9 bus stop on Frideswide Square. 

From Oxford city centre:

You can catch the number 8 or number 9 bus at Castle Street or in High street, Queen’s Lane bus stop.

The bus stop in front of our gate is Gladstone Road bus stop.

By Road:  Sat Nav: OX3 9EH

From North: Exit M40 at junction 9 and take A34 towards Oxford. At Peartree interchange, take the left signposted to Oxford A44, follow A44 and at Wolvercote roundabout take 2nd exit toward London A40, straight over – 2nd exit at next roundabout and then at Headington roundabout (Green road roundabout) take the 5th exit onto London Road. The Guest House is situated on the right-hand side about 200 meters after the roundabout.

From South: Exit M40 at junction 8 and take A40 towards Oxford. At Headington roundabout (Green road roundabout) take 2nd exit, signposted Headington onto London Road. The Guest House is situated on the right-hand side about 200 meters after the roundabout.

By Coach: If you arrive by coach from London by the X90 or Oxford TubeHeathrowGatwick, Luton or Stansted airports come off the coach at Gladstone road bus stop. We are almost opposite of the bus stop.
