Mr Peter H, June 2015: The room was small but clean, well kept, quiet and comfortable.
Mrs Jane B, May 2015: A very enjoyable stay. We were made to feel very welcome. Our room was good, the bed was comfy. The breakfast was excellent, we really enjoyed ourselves.
Mrs Catherine Jean D, May 2015: Hello...nice place and quiet room but the odour of fresh paint was disturbing and not pleasant. Disappointed that the landlord couldn't provide us with information about nearby walks to do or a visit to Woodstock which we found ourselves.
We could leave the car in front of house and got bus into Oxford for 4 pounds which was practical.
Ms Heidi L, May 2015: Room and bathroom very clean and neat. Hosts very friendly and helpful.
Miss Katharine H, April 2015: Very polite and welcoming host.
Mr Adam P, April 2015: Amazing stay with the host Marylin, she was wonderful and looked after me well. Wonderful breakfast. Great parking facilities. Beautiful room with en suite. Lovely lovely stay.
Mr Stuart D, January 2015: Marilyn was very welcoming and looked after us very well without fuss. Many thanks.
Ms Val S, April 2014: Excellent location for getting to and from Oxford, as there are frequent buses, including at night. However the Banbury Rd is busy, so light sleepers should pack earplugs. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful.
Mr Alozie B, March 2014: Thank for looking after me Marilyn, especially for my early morning breakfast. Most apprecated.
Mr Reza B, February 2014: The Housekeeper was a very kind person :)!
Other Olivia W, November 2013: I very much enjoyed my stay at the 5 Mile View Guest House in Oxford. In addition to my ratings already given, I'd like to add that I received a very warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.
Mrs Marian S, June 2013: We had a nice and comfortable stay at this guesthouse. A quiet room at the back of the house with garden view. Small, but everything you need was there. Very good beds, small but very clean bathroom. Water from the shower had too little pressure but was nice warm. Bus stop in front of the house, no more than 15 minutes into the city centre. What always is most important is service and friendlyness. And hat is what we certainly found here: Marylin is most friendly, breakfast was great, wel felt welcome. If we ever come back, we would certainly book here again.
Mrs Robyn W, January 2013: We loved Marilyn and the five mile guest house, very comfortable and great breakfast
Mrs Jeanette M, May 2012: good welcome very friendly, easy parking and easy tofind woudl happily use this accomodation again.
